I've been a photographer for over 20 years, but have not been consistently taking pictures for the last seven years. Since moving to Austin, Texas I've purchased some new gear and have renewed my vigor for the photographic art. This blog contains my thoughts and adventures since starting over with one of my favorite hobbies.

In 2007, I transplanted my family from Kansas to Texas. Since then, my wife, son and I have been enjoying the area quite well. The cold winter temperatures and bad weather in our old stomping grounds are not bothering us one bit down here. At some point in time after relocating, my old passion, photography, raised its expensive head and took hold of me once again. I hope everyone enjoys my photographs as much as I enjoy taking them.
